Planetary Variables access

Hi, I’ve an Exploration account on SentinHub. Since I’ve read on the pricing section of the site that this kind of account would give me access to commercial data, I subscribed the Exploration account to obtain the access to the Planetary Variables. But, when trying to download data relativly to the Soil Water Content, I found I had no access to that.How does this happen? Is the Exploration account unsuitable for PV data? Thanks for the answers!

When tasking large AOIs it is a cumbersome and lengthy process to click each collect in the Tasking Dashboard, then go to Planet Explorer to download each of them. It would be easier if I could add all fulfilled collects to my cart right from the Tasking Dashboard and checkout. This would save me a lot of time.

Question about durations/timelines for satellite art/research project

Dear all, I have a probably slightly unusual question which is for a satellite art/research project that I am currently conducting between the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and the Scott Polar Research Institute (Cambridge, UK). For this project, I am currently looking for various “durations” that are required for gathering and processing satellite data.For this, we are trying to work with durations that are more than 0,5 seconds (mostly for practical purposes), such as the time it takes for specific satellites to orbit the earth, how long it takes to get which satellite image of what size, or the time span of sending the control command to take an image until the image is available on the ground. I would be very grateful and interested in any hints, thanks in advance!

error 500 issues using sentinelhub api

I have a script to retrieve time series of a combination of Sentinel-2 L1C bands and Sentinel-2 L2A assets like AOT, SCL, SZA, SAA, … for any given typically small (1x1 km) geometry, based on the examples here: https://documentation.dataspace.copernicus.eu/APIs/SentinelHub/Process/Examples/S2L1C.htmlIt has been working normally during the last year. Slight spatial misalignment in PlanetScope/RapidEye imagery

Hello!I have a set of scenes of the same area, but there’s some slight misalignment between them (like 3 or 4 pixels), this usually isnt a problem, but I need the most precission possible for my use case (measuring coastal recession), so even a small misalaignment could change results greatly. This happens between images from different and same sensors, so it isnt a result of using different sensors (at least i dont think so),beacuse i have some that are correctly aligned. Also, i used the same AIO to download the images from PlanetScope, so the images have the same extent and are clipped to the same area. My question is, is there any way to download scenes that are correctly aligned, or should I fix it manually? (or is there a faster way to automatically align them?) Thanks everyone!

Issues with opensearch.sentinel-hub.com for images later than February

We’ve had a pipeline running for years now, whenever we need to process imagery for a new geometry, we use the sentinelhub python library to identify relevant historical images for said geometry.This library actually makes a simple request to the url http://opensearch.sentinel-hub.com/resto/api/collections/Sentinel2/search.json with the bounding box and date ranges.Recently, we’ve noticed that we haven’t been getting newer images. After some investigation, it seems that the endpoint is not properly returning newer images (since March, from our tests).As you can see, using a test bounding box we manually created a request to that endpoint, getting a total of 0 images since march:But increasing the range to February, we get images as expected:Searching directly for more recent data on the same tile, we can see that newer images do exist:aws s3 ls --request-payer requester s3://sentinel-s2-l2a/tiles/14/T/LL/2025/4/ PRE 12/ PRE 14/

Rendering PlanetScope scene in QGIS appears incorrect

I downloaded 8-band analytics ready surface reflectance PlanetScope scenes for a study. I want to create a visualization of one of the scenes with QGIS. However, when I load the scene in QGIS as a raster, it doesn’t look like the agricultural field I’m expecting. Count of days with images meeting filter criteria in Explorer

I have an extensive list of small AOIs and am manually screening them to download the useful images for my project. Is there an easy method to get the total count of days with images that meet my filters and dates in each AOI? Each day shows up in the Daily Scenes panel and on the timeline at the bottom of the map, so this information exists, but doesn’t seem readily available. Thanks!

Sentinel-2 catalogue showing S2A and S2B transit on the same day?

On 28/03/2025 in UTM tile 32TMK the catalogue.dataspace.copernicus.eu gives me both S2A and S2B acquisitions.To date the catalogue has only ever showed one or other of the pair on a single date.Has anything changed?Or is there a bug in the catalogue?

Missing march data for downloading Sentinel imagery through AWS

I am using AWS API to download Sentinel-2 images, but I found that the interface can only download images before March of this year. I cannot retrieve the download or available image dates for images after that. What is the reason for this? And how should we solve it?

Best Practices for Visualizing Clear Pixels from UDM2 in ArcGIS Pro?

Hi all,I’m working with PlanetScope SuperDove UDM2.1 data in ArcGIS Pro and I’m trying to better understand how to interpret and visualize clear pixels in the UDM RGB composite.As I understand it, the default RGB band mapping is: Red = Clear Green = Snow Blue = Shadow To work around this, we’re also testing the individual UDM bands using Extract Bands and the Raster Calculator, creating binary layers like:Con("UDM2_B1" == 1, 1, 0) (assuming Band 1 = Clear), so that: 1 = clear pixel 0 = not clear This is giving us a more direct view of which pixels are flagged as usable. Are we on the right track with that approach?I'd love to hear how others: Visualize or validate clear pixels in RGB composites Work with UDM2 bands in ArcGIS Pro or QGIS Apply symbology or classification to quickly identify good pixels for analysis We’re using this for water quality and algal bloom detection, so identifying usable pixels accurately is important for our downstream work.Any advice, workflows, or
