Hello,what package do you purchase to access daily satellite imagery? And is there a package that can be purchased that will give higher resolution than the basic package?

Dear allI’m working with a set of images collected through satellite tasking and would like to calculate some vegetation indexes such as NDVI and EVI. I have downloaded the TOA and SR images (both 16-bit unsigned raster). I tried re-scaling each band by the maximum pixel value before calculating the indexes and it seems to work for NDVI but not for EVI, which returns indexes completely out of range (for both, TOA and SR). This result makes me wonder if the NDVI I calculated is correct. Does anyone have experience with something similar and can recommend a procedure or reference to a material that can help me understand how to work with the imagery for this purpose?ThanksCM 

Hello All,  I am using the SkySat images with with 4 bands and wants to convert the SR pixel values to the index. So wondering what raster calculator constant I should use to get the final values from 0-1 for each pixel.  Best, Ayush

Hi I was trying to search SkySat 0.5m high resolution images on the Planet Explorer by checking SkySat scene and collect, somehow I couldn’t find anything anywhere. About half year ago, I could find these images at many locations. I saved a few links with for those search results and these links don’t work anymore. I just wondered if there is any change to the SkySat data archive lately? My search for 3m PlanetScope images is usually successful at many locations and date ranges.I would really appreciate it if someone could help me on this. 

Hello I am new to satellite imagery and I can’t get it how to task for high resolution imagery for a specific location so I can than further edit images in Arc GIS Pro and get isocurves of terrain. I also bought a subscription to Sentinel hub.

Hello!I would like to task a mission for a repeated 1-month long observation over a polygon.In the tasking menu I selected my date span and also a order type (single photo - 1 photo per pass).Seems correct, however, the estimated quota is 32km2 which equals the area of my polygon. Is here something wrong or repeating photos over same area does not increase the quota? 

Tasked my field for imagery off on about 10 km and need the imagery. Any suggestions on how to proceed with that?Image I got from Planet on top left and field I needed on bottom right. 

I’m using requests in Python to batch order SkySat collects.  What is the recommended cap on how many collects to order per zip?  I searched the website but wasn’t able to find any info.  Thanks!

Hi everyone! I wanted to post some fun content that we have created using some amazing SkySat 50cm Imagery, paired with 50cm SAR imagery from Umbra’s Open Data Program.We have successfully used planet data to cowhitness/groundtruth unique object detection events for our geoint AI use case. In the below example, we were able to collect information on completely burned assets in Sudan. This will be critical in automating Battlefield Damage Assessments, where we can not only identify assets but also their state and context (for ex: damages vs destroyed assets, or gas/oil pooling around asset).When we began annotating this data, we had never seen a burned-to-the-ground aircraft or truck-trailers. By the time we were done bounding-boxing the assets, our team could easily differentiate burned-down vs normal objects using SAR data alone. Imagine how easy it will be for an AI!
