When downloading Sentinel-2 L1C and L2A data from AWS public datasets, has the "Requester pays" been removed?

I am downloading Sentinel-2 L1C and L2A data from AWS public datasets, transferring approximately 1TB of data monthly from AWS to my office. According to the "Requester pays" policy, I should be charged for "data transfer fees from AWS to the internet".However, the AWS bill I received does not include this charge. Specifically, the data transfer metrics for the Frankfurt region show 0GB.My question is: Are users no longer required to pay data transfer fees? Has Planet assumed responsibility for these costs? Thank you.Additionally, my download command is: aws s3 cp requester s3://sentinel-s2-l2a/... The download succeeds without adding "--request-payer" to the command.

Inclusion of "Order Name" Field in Usage ReportsNew

Hello Planet Team,In our organization, we use Planet Explorer as a key part of our processes, and we have identified a critical limitation in the Usage Reports.For each download, we follow a specific naming structure that includes key identifiers linked to our database. However, when downloading the Usage Reports from the plan information, we noticed that they do not include the "Order Name" field, which creates significant challenges in tracking and managing our downloads.Currently, we are forced to manually identify order names and do so account by account for each user, as we cannot find a consolidated view of all orders in one place. This is not a sustainable solution and negatively impacts our operational efficiency.We believe this improvement is fully feasible, as the Tasking Dashboard module already allows for downloading complete reports, including the "Order Name" field, which has been extremely helpful for our internal processes.We would greatly appreciate your prompt attenti

Changes of the access rights to L1C bucket at AWS Public Datasets (Requester Pays)

To all AWS Public Datasets users of S2 L1C data. This thread will be used to communicate changes happening to the S2 bucket. As we expect to gather some feedback from power users in this thread, we might change the approach a bit during the discussion in ongoing. The summarized and harmonized description will be available on this FAQ link. End of June we will set S2 L1C bucket as “Requester pays” similarly as it is for S2 L2A and S1 GRD. This move is required to allow further increase of the shared data - for continuation of Sentinel-2 L1C coverage, to accommodate global rollout of Sentinel-2 L2A and to host European and then global Sentinel-2 analysis ready mosaics. How might this affect your workflow: If you are using the data within AWS EU (Frankfurt) region using S3 protocol, there will be practically no change. There will be some very small additional charge incurred to your account, related to “GET, SELECT and all other Requests”, currently at 0.43$ per 1 million requests. If you

Unable to add images to cart on Planet Explorer

Selecting images that can be viewed in Planet Explorer and adding them to the cart is no longer possible. There is no cart icon available. I am a participant in the Education and Research Program. Have I reached my monthly download limit? Last month, I actually went a touch above my limit a little. I also tried to download a past order again to see if the order itself could be placed. However, assets are not configured.

KeyError: 'id' when placing API order

Hello! I’m replicating the code found at this link https://github.com/planetlabs/notebooks/blob/master/jupyter-notebooks/Orders-API/ordering_and_delivery.ipynb with my own set of images and am receiving the error in the screenshot below when trying to place the order. For reference, I’m trying to pull all available analytic_8b_sr_udm2 products that overlap with my specified area of interest.I’m unsure if this is a problem with the API, the images I’m trying to order or the way I’ve written the code. My code is exactly the same as the one linked, except I performed a paginated quick search first and then copy and pasted the resulting item id list into the request code. That item id list has 786 image ids in it. Any insight someone can provide about what is causing this error and how to fix it would be so appreciated!

Confused about image resolution

Greetings all,By my own admission, I am very new at the satellite imagery usage and processing, so I am confused about the image quality (resolution) that I am seeing in the images downloaded.I am downloading a series of images that have a GSD of 3.7m, so this should allow me to resolve an object of about 9m.When I open the images in ArcGIS Pro, the images are really pixelated, and I cannot even clearly see the outline of houses.Here are some item IDs that I have downloaded today 20230921_151412_22_242d, 20230820_155500_02_247d, 20230705_150612_29_2420, 20230530_151402_74_24cc, 20230403_150804_41_2431, 20230723_150707_37_2460And here is a sample of the images I see on my screen, viewed at a resolution of 1:3,672. Heck, I get better resolution from Google Maps imagery (but not the 8 band spectra) like the Planet images have. Do you know what I am doing wrong?
