On your website you say a subscription will allow you to order data from a catalog. When you pay your subscription fee, and spend a couple of hours going back and forth with support, you discover that your subscription doesn’t include any data, and you have to buy a whole other package with is substantially more to even use it. The user interface on your websites are terrible. More than that, you go to cancel a subscription and the first thing is says is ‘no refunds’, instead of asking what you might do better.Whoever is in charge of turning your data into products needs to completely re-evaluate their approach. I’m a senior software dev and if I can’t figure out what you have after a couple hours, then how would anybody with a less technical skillset approach you. More than that, you have no numbers a person can call aside form a random number from San Francisco that zero people respond to. A lost customer…

Italics responses are from Grega (thank you) We are currently integrating the Planet Scope subscription generation into our application, and wanted to confirm a few things: What is the best practice for managing these subscriptions to Planet Scope? We would like all our subscriptions to contain historical data from Planet Scope. Does it make sense that every subscription created to default the time range to a “start date” to the earliest possible ingestion of Planet Scope data i.e. some date in 2017? We would recommend that all your subscriptions have same start date, so that you will not have trouble remembering specific cases. Which date you choose will not impact your costs, so you can set any, i.e. 2017-01-01. Choose the one that makes sense. For “TO” date it would probably make sense that you set it to 2023-10-26, when your current PlanetScope subscription expires

Hello,,,I would like to be able to test in my own GSI high rez  imagery on a small parcel too see if it meets my needs,,,,,,,this would be on a ½ mile by ½ mile area. or 160 acres.  Am looking for 3m and finer resolution photos that I can download into my GSI and zone out the weed patches.  Would need current and or very recent imagery.  What would the cost be for a test image of this size?Thanks

Is there a way to configure a proxy host for the sentinelhub-py requests? Currently all requests by the python tools are blocked by our firewall, hence I need to use a proxy to get through, but couldn’t find any mention about proxies in the shub-py documentation.

Hi everyone,I'm already a Planet Exploration subscriber, and I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.My family and I are trying to resolve a land boundary dispute, and we only need one historical PlanetScope image of a very small location.After subscribing, I realized that the imagery we need appears to require one of the much more expensive plans (around $450+), which we honestly didn't expect. We thought the Exploration subscription would be enough, but unfortunately we misunderstood the differences between the plans.We're not looking for continuous monitoring or large datasets—just one image from a specific period that could help settle this issue.The location is:36°07'27.3"N 36°30'31.0"EThe ideal image would be taken between May 30, 2019 and May 30, 2020. After the trees were cleared, a concrete square was built to mark the property boundary. Some time later, that concrete marker was removed by heavy machinery, and the surrounding area was developed.What we are looking for is a satellite image taken sometime between 30 May 2019 and 30 May 2020. We believe that during this period the trees had already been cleared, but the concrete boundary marker was still visible. Hello Planet Support Team,I am experiencing an issue with my PlanetScope subscriptions following the renewal of my Area Under Management (AUM) plan.Previously, I had several subscriptions actively running under my annual PlanetScope Area Under Management (Tier 2) plan. The plan expired, and I have now purchased a new AUM subscription. Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with Planet basemap imagery that started about 2–3 weeks ago.Although my API key is active and working normally, all Planet basemaps have become blurry / out of focus, to the point where they are not usable for analysis. This affects all imagery, including older monthly mosaics that previously displayed correctly.Important details: The basemaps load normally (no connection or authentication errors) The issue affects all Planet imagery, not just recent data Even historical mosaics that were sharp before now appear blurred This behavior started suddenly around 2–3 weeks ago API access is valid and unchanged Issue persists across zoom levels I’ve attached an image to illustrate the problem.This makes me suspect a server-side issue, such as a change in tile resolution, WMTS configuration, or streaming settings, rather than a problem with the imagery itself.Has anyone else experienced this recently?Are there any known changes to Planet basemap servi

I’m trying to download Planetscope imagery from Crete from May 15 2026 or later. However, I’m not able to get anything less than 3 months old. I was also looking at land in Syria and it is also limited to March 2026 and later. Is this related to war in the middle east (though Crete is quite far from there). Is there a description or a polygon showing where Planet is restricting data?

Hello,I purchased a SINGLE Top-up, after 12 hours it is still not available for usage. Do you have this issue after a top up on Processing Units?I am still getting the error “Insufficient processing units or requests available in your account. Upgrade account or acquire additional credits."In the account page, I could see the Top-up is successful but when I make a OGC API request with my instance configured it fails.

The last weeks I’ve noticed that the Requests Statistics under the section Account > Usage and reporting is always showing that no requests or processing units exist which is not true. I’ve sent several requests to StatisticalAPI etc. It seems like it is not being updated and like it has lost all previous statistics.Does anyone else face the same issue? Anyone from the support team can help?

Hello,We are familiarizing ourselves with the new Planet Insights platform, pricing and subscriptions, before this we’ve always used Sentinel Hub. We have a couple of questions: Since we already have a Basic subscription I think the best path for us is to omit the preselected packages, which was the first thing we were looking at, and go to the next page where we can buy sq. km. for the area under management plan. Is that the best way forward for us since we have a plan or what would be the advantage of the preselected package? As far as we understood, the area under management plan lasts 12 months right? And this doesn’t have anything to do with the platform subscription correct? Because our subscription expires on December but if we buy a plan now we should have that area available until June 27 I guess. We also had direct contracts with Planet for area under management which are valid until August based on what I see in the account even though I think it should have been until May o
