We’ve had an active subscription for Sentinel 1 products for quite some time using the topic : arn:aws:sns:eu-central-1:214830741341:SentinelS1L1C. However, we’ve not seen a product published by the topic for a few days. We are aware of the Sentinel-1 downtime on July 9th 2022 - but we do see new products in the catalog that resumed on the 10th and 11th of July.

Any information would be greatly helpful.

Just confirmed we received a notification at 2022-07-11T14:34:26.035Z – with several days between the previous notification.

Hi,

Normally we expect to ingest data to AWS in 30-90 minutes after the data comes to scihub if everything goes well, but sometimes there is low bandwidth. We appreciate your patience.

The following 2 posts explain how data becomes available on Sentinel Hub clearer:

Best Regards

Thanks for the response. We’ve been using this topic for quite some time… maybe a few years now. I see this large gap in time between SNS messages :

Is there an explanation for this large gap? There were many products published between those times – with no SNS notification.

Hi,

I assume that this gap is probably related to Sentinel-1A unavailability from 9 July 2022 to 10 July 2022.

There was also a widespread unavailability of Copernicus Hub, which is used to distribute the data…
