Long narrow AOIs | Planet Community

Hello,

We are looking to purchase archive imagery along roadways and railways. Commercial high resolution data is required. The Area of Interest is only 100m wide, but there are long distances of hundreds of kilometers. Is there any minimum width for the polygon to purchase archive imagery or can we simply purchase this narrow AOI? Data may be Worldview, Planet or Pleiades, this is to be decided.

Hi Rowan,

I believe the 100m width should be sufficient. There is a limit in terms of maximum geometry points, so you should not make polygons too complex.
