Hi,

I’m search for Sentiel-1 data in Copernicus Open Access Hub, I find two products with same timespan and same cover but different identifier name. Are they different in some ways or just duplicate data?

To me they look like the same data (if you look at the sensing date/time and footprint), the difference being that one product is offline and the other isn’t.

Since we do not operate the Copernicus Open Access Hub, you would be best off asking the support there: eosupport@copernicus.esa.int

If you do get a response, don’t hesitate to share it here as it might interest others too!

I get the response, the technical team said there is an already open and known issue causing the duplication of products, investigation is ongoing, but this issue could happen again.

The first product BFDA will be removed.

So be careful when downloading products, especically using scripts 😅

Thanks for the update: that’s really useful to know!
