I know this is clearly a sales question so I apologize in advance. But filling out the sales form online to contact sales multiple times has yielded no responses over the last couple months. And I’m at my deadline for this even being a feasible option anymore so here I am. I am looking to purchase imagery for multiple AOI’s around a few hundred km2. I don’t need every image ever created as typically only 0-2 images per year have any value based on cloud coverage and tide heights and within the last 12 months. I’ve previously used a third party platform and paid per km but Planet no longer resells through them. I signed up for the free explorer trial and I can see the images I would like to purchase but the option is greyed out. I signed up for a paid monthlyaccount and the option is still greyed out for purchase. Looking at the pricing for US images I’m at the $30k+ a year plan? Given how few images actually have value for me I just thought I’d get a gut check before going in a differe

Hi, I’ve submitted an order via the planet explorer and got an email with the download link.However, the download always failed.the zip file has 99 images with a size of ~40GBis it too big to download? If so, if it possible to ask you to divide the big zip file into small ones?PS,  I can download these images via api, will I be charged again?  best,Haiyan

Selecting images that can be viewed in Planet Explorer and adding them to the cart is no longer possible. There is no cart icon available. I am a participant in the Education and Research Program. Have I reached my monthly download limit? Last month, I actually went a touch above my limit a little. I also tried to download a past order again to see if the order itself could be placed. However, assets are not configured.

I wanted to add order by selecting the scene but the card does not get activated and cannot add scenes for my study site. 

Hello, everyone! I am downloading raster images clipped to a small aoi. It appears that my quota allocation is still counting the entire scene’s coverage area towards my monthly download quota, however. From my calculations, I have downloaded maybe a total of 10km^, but my monthly total is showing more like 2400 km^2. Can someone clarify whether downloading clipped rasters should only count the clipped area or if they count the entire scene from  which they are clipped when allocating towards the monthly download. I am downloading using the process of placing an order based upon a list of feature id’s and my clip aoi, then downloading the order once it is completed using the python Planet library (via orders.py’s download methods). Any info will be much appreciated.Thanks!Phillip

Hello all,I have a shapefile of my region of interest which I want to import to Planet Explorer. It is a multi-polygon layer which is displayed in QGIS without problems.Upon importing the .shp, I receive the error “Cannot read properties of null (reading 'coordinates')”. If I try importing it along with all its associated extensions (.dbf, .prj, .shx), the error changes to “This is an unsupported projection.”My projection is EPSG:25832 - ETRS89 / UTM zone 32N and I also tried EPSG:4326 - WGS84.How could I solve this?Thank you in advance!

Hi!I am trying to download a small image and I can’t find the option to clip my AOI so I don’t order the hole scene.Is the option somewhere else?   Thank you

Morning folks, Does anyone know if the record of Planet orders disappears after several months under your account?  I logged in this morning to review some old orders and they are no longer visible. Thanks!Tanya.
