Hi everyone,
I’ve been working with Planet imagery via Planet Labs for a few small monitoring workflows (mainly land-use change and infrastructure tracking over time). From a technical perspective, everything is working fine — I can pull scenes, align dates, and compare changes without issues. The challenge I’m running into is more on the communication side. When I present findings to non-technical stakeholders, small but important changes (e.g., gradual land clearing or minor construction progress) are often not immediately obvious when shown as raw imagery or side-by-side GIS views.
To make it easier to interpret, I’ve been experimenting with turning selected image sequences into short visual summaries. It works surprisingly well for quick communication, but I’m wondering if this is a common approach or if there are better practices within the Planet ecosystem
