Dear all

I’m working with a set of images collected through satellite tasking and would like to calculate some vegetation indexes such as NDVI and EVI. I have downloaded the TOA and SR images (both 16-bit unsigned raster). I tried re-scaling each band by the maximum pixel value before calculating the indexes and it seems to work for NDVI but not for EVI, which returns indexes completely out of range (for both, TOA and SR). This result makes me wonder if the NDVI I calculated is correct. Does anyone have experience with something similar and can recommend a procedure or reference to a material that can help me understand how to work with the imagery for this purpose?

Thanks

CM
