Using satellite indices in biophysical models

Greetings everyone,

I’m interested in discovering if there’s a method for incorporating NDVI into the FAO model to compute field water consumption (ETc) as a parameter. In this scenario, NDVI would serve as an input in the equation, and the resulting output would be an image. The FAO model necessitates other parameters such as climate data.

Is it feasible to develop this integration using process APIs or statistical, ensuring that the final outcome remains an image?

Hi,

I’m not totally familiar with what you are trying to achieve, but you can certainly include constants as inputs in your evalscripts. A good example of this is SAVI that uses a constant value into the generation of the index.
