I found help documentation for other products but sadly not these, though could be user error.

Sentinel-1 is a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) which provides continuous all-weather, day-and-night imagery at C-band. You can find more basic information here. To understand SAR data, this article can be a good starting point which introduce you the fundamentals of SAR. Also, if you want to spend more time grasping SAR, this video may be interesting to you.
