Hello

We had a Sentinel Hub subscription with Planet Scope third part data for a year in 2021. We have some questions because we know that Planet Scope has made some changes to improve the quality of the images.

  • To download the images we used to order them in Sentinel Hub and then download in QGis. Is it still the same procedure? Is there any other way to make the download in one step?

  • Planet images used to have some movement and we had to correct it many times. Do you know if they have improved this?

  • Planet images have been harmonized with Sentinel 2 since March 2022. Do you know if older images have been harmonized too?

Thank you for your help

Best regards

We recommend you use subscriptions - this allow you to register your area of interest only once, then the data will be automatically updated in Sentinel Hub, throughout the time of the subscription.

You can then simply download to QGIS.

The new PSScene has improved in this regards, but the shifts are still visible on some occassions.

Planet images have been harmonized with Sentinel 2 since March 2022. Do you know if older images have been harmonized too?

Yes.

Thank you for your help! Is very usefull
