Eoghan Darbyshire from CEOBS conducted evaluations on the current state of forest loss and deforestation rates in conflict areas in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This work has been done by gathering data from NICFI Satellite Data Program, global forest loss maps, and deforestation alerts on Global Forest Watch.
