I downloaded PSScenes for two locations yesterday. One location’s extent was 0.003 km2, the other was similar. I downloaded 9 daily scenes for one location and 4 for the other. I got 8 bands for each day. My thinking, the total area for one location is 8 (bands) X 9 (days) X 0.003 km2 = 0.216 km2 for one location. The other location is about half that, since I had half as many days. However, my account dashboard says that I’ve used 1300 km2 this month, even though those were the only downloads I’ve done this month. Can someone clarify this for me, please?
