Prior to the expiration of Planet’s previous CSDA contract with NASA I had been using the Planet API to download Planet SuperDove imagery straight into Google Earth Engine. When the contract expired, I lost access to imagery via the API but am hoping that is now reinstated. Have any changes been made to Planet access via the API with the new CSDA contract? Specifically, I’m curious about limits on 8-band SuperDove imagery downloads, as my project requires a lot.
CSDA program changes

The CSDA program has recently executed a task order with Planet Labs to resume acquiring PlanetScope (Dove) and RapidEye imagery.
There is a change in how you will access data.
Data is no longer accessed via Planet Explorer or APIs. Instead, access will be managed by the team at NASA via their SmallSat Data Explorer. NASA's CSDA Data Management team will be continually archiving data, with a 30 day latency, from areas of interest and making the data available.
If you would like to get access to the data of an area and timeframe that does not seem to be available, please contact the CSDA Data Management Team using their Data Request Form to assist with your data needs.
