We've been processing new Sentinel S2 L2A images through an SNS subscription for years, but our services recently got overloaded by a huge increase in the number of messages received.

The first spike was on September 18th, and now were getting about 100 times the number of events as we used to. Any idea on what's going on?

We're subscribing to the SNS topic in the AWS Registry:

Never mind, got confused by the SMS naming. It was a database issue caused by a failed migration that caused issues on an internal service. SNS topic is normal.
