I would like to see greater availability and improved pre-processing of high spatial and temporal resolution imagery products that allow advanced analysis (including movement detection and quantification) for natural hazards such as flooding.
My use case is measuring river flow and floods. For this, SkySat video is excellent, and SkySat All Frames also has some potential, however the imagery is relatively hard to get hold of and is delivered in a very raw form, which brings time delays, as imagery must be stabilised, rectified and optically enhanced before useful analysis can be undertaken.
I very much hope the new Pelican constellation will retain the video and high frame rate still imagery capabilities, while improving on image quality and pre-processing!
