Hi, for consideration:
When adding a tasking order, the default start and end dates are today and 364 days from now, respectively. If a customer’s contract is only for 1 year, this automatically creates an ‘end date after contract’ error and requires user input to update the end date for the collect.
Users may decide to update that end date anyway; however, I enjoyed not having to make another selection and just leave as-is. There may be more considerations, but perhaps defaulting that to a year or the furthest valid date would be a better user experience?
There’s also something about seeing a red error message based on a default values that the user didn’t even enter…
