I would love if it was possible to better share hosted items such as Planet Stories or Hosted Data to all users in my Organisation/subscription, instead of on an individual user level. Hosted Data shared across all users in a organisation/subscription would lead to increased usage of hosted data files and better quota management by stoppig duplicate hosted files or Stories being created over the same location.
I am very familiar with the ArcGIS Online or Portal functionality of Groups. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/share-maps/groups.htm It would be great to have Groups in Planet Explorer.
For example, A group is a collection of items usually related to a specific area of interest. As an admin you could create groups as a way to organize and share hosted items for multiple users in the organisation/suborganisation/subscription. Groups can also be used to organize specific types of data and users. For example, a group dedicated to imagery analysis may contain only hosted data or Planet stories for a specific use case (i.e stories and hosted images of a Fire or flood - this would lead to better outcomes for sharing and using this data in a time of crisis).
