Some of our customers require methods to effectively rank PlanetScope scenes based on image quality for downstream processing. Current public metadata lacks metrics like sharpness and signal-to-noise ratio, hindering informed selection.

Would it be possible to expand publicly available scene metadata to include relevant internal data points? This would empower users to make data-driven decisions and optimise their workflows.

One super useful metadata field to get access to would be the point spread function (PSF) that is calculated for all images. Unfortunately, it is curently only available internally.
