Currently, it’s possible to do some spectral analysis on Planet Explorer such as NDVI, NDWI and etc. However, users are unable to download these analyses. To be able to download them, users need to use the API. It would be great if the user could perform these analyses and also download them on Planet Explorer.
+8Yes, this would be very useful. Although you can order Hosted Data and then download the COG now, the spectral analysis in Explorer performed on that hosted data can only be exported via the experimental Snapshot (screenshot) tool as a flat file (jpg). However, most users want values or numbers that explain the values seen on screen by the colours, as some number mean important cut off points for certain spectral indicies. Our users want to know the values the indicies are showing in addition to the display.
