Does anyone know of the spectral indices that can be generated using only visible bands(Red,Blue and Green) that I can use for image analysis particularly for land use land cover.

View originalHey Shelley this paper seems like a good place to start - it covers multiple visible indices. You can freely access the Open Manuscript to see the content.

Hi Shelley is there a reason you prefer to use the visible bands? The NIR will give you much more information about land use/land cover and there are many more indices that this opens this up to :). Hope that helps - NICFI Program Team :)
