Hello, my name is Wilman Mejia. I currently work at the Forest Conservation Institute, specifically in the monitoring unit, serving as a deforestation alert validation technician. If you work in the same or similar field, could you share platforms or ideas with me for viewing and validating monthly or daily satellite images?

Hi @welimejia11
I hope you are able to connect with folks who are doing the same or similar work as you are! Just wanted to make you aware of the Planet Publications site which hosts tons of academic papers that use Planet data!

Nice to be in contact, Wilman! Thanks for posting.

In addition to the above, we’ve recently opened up the Tropical Forest Observatory for general availability, which might have the kind of regular, monthly imagery you’re looking for to track deforestation and reforestation across the tropics: https://www.planet.com/tropical-forest-observatory/
