Hi,
We've downloaded several 4-band PlanetScope Scene images for some locations.
I am wondering for the same locations, can we download PlanetScope Ortho Tile data for free as we already paid the quota when we downloaded the 4-band PlanetScope Scene data?

Hi Haiyan,
Each time you place an unique order (referred by the order id), Planet will charge against customers quota regardless the item ids, item type, and bundle type.
For your case, if you already made an order for PlanetScope 4-Band imagery, your next order PlanetScope OrthoTile will be charged against your quota.

Hi.
I created an order with Planet explorer where I picked the surface reflectance as the asset. I now have the order download box where I can download the image. Next to the download tab is an order again tab. if I click on this to select a visual asset does Planet take another quota from my subscription even if it is the same scene and date.

Yes, quota would be deducted for the second order, as you are ordering a different asset type; downloads are unlimited but new orders will charge against quota.
