Collaboration Call: Using Planet Platform to Monitor Humanitarian and Environmental Crises in Conflict Zones

Hello everyone,
My name is Hasan Bin Ali Bin Mahmoud Al Shareef, an Independent UN Expert specializing in child protection and human rights in conflict zones. I also serve as the President of AGDO.e.V, the Arab-German Green Development Organization (officially registered in Germany – Reg. No. RV 3037).

We are currently leading initiatives to monitor environmental and humanitarian damage in conflict zones like Sudan and Gaza, increasingly relying on satellite imagery to support international documentation and advocacy.

I’m open to collaborating with those interested in:

Using Planet imagery to detect land changes, displacement patterns, and infrastructure damage
Developing visual reports for use in UN or human rights contexts
Co-creating tools or workflows optimized for humanitarian crisis monitoring

This message reflects the voice and soul of Hasan Ali M Al Shareef, a Saudi humanitarian who, since the age of 15, has devoted his life to protecting children affected by war.
