I am downloading Planet Fusion data for a project through a BYOC Collection on SentinelHub. The plan is to have a STAC catalog on my side to archive the data for future use. When I query the Catalog API I get STAC items that have an empty object in the assets field. Is this normal? Is there a way to get this information or at least a template of the whole STAC item?

Today this is not supported. I would encourage you to post this as an idea (along with any other feedback you have) in the ideas forum as this provides a direct line of communication to the product team & it also allows for other community members to chime in with similar feedback.
Our recommendation on how to proceed today:
We recommend not creating a second back up of the data, but instead to keep it stored on our platform. If necessary, data can be "downloaded" through the Processing API.
