Planet has acquired the business of Sinergise, including Sentinel Hub, marking a significant step forward in our mission to make Earth observation (EO) data more accessible and impactful. We are excited to welcome Sentinel Hub to the Planet community, and are eager to accelerate investment in Europe, the development of EO data applications, and solutions for the planet.

Congrats ! Big time user here of Sentinel-Hub ! Used both Sentinel-Hub & Planet explorer for my master thesis in June, two amazing teams coming together is great news for the users. Glad to see the development of Planet in Europe as well

Hy! This words “Earth observation (EO) data more accessible and impactful” also needs to do more than acquire a company. Planet has to make their data more accessible for anyone, especially the medium res. Images from Planetscope.
