Multiple sections of geometry vs whole geometry satellite imagery data

I am not entirely sure what you are asking in this question. Can you please define what you mean by geometry and bbox in your instance. Are you only referring to your areas of interest but also the geometry of the satellite image you are referring to?

If you could rephrase this and maybe provide a diagram then this will help us out in answering your query successfully
