L1C can be found on the eo-browser but the corresponding L2A is missing on a wide area (globally i believe).

Thanks for raising this. Unfortunately, there have been some issues with the data provider. This has caused some delays in the processing of data. You can keep updated with the latest information here.

We noticed there is still data missing in the sentinel-s2-l1c bucket. More specifically, for 2025-02-12 we expect products for tiles 48QTL, 49PCR, 49PBM, 49PFT, 49PBN, 49NEJ, 49PCN, 49NCJ, 49QFU, 49PET, 49PDK, 49PCP, 49PCQ, 49PCS, 49QEU, 49PEK, 49NDJ. These products have been added on the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem in the meantime. Will these products also be synced to the AWS S3 bucket?

Yes, these products should eventually be synced. If this is still an issue in a weeks time then do please flag this up. If your application is time sensitive then I would recommend switching to the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem as the source of your sentinel-2 data as this is where it will be delivered first.
