I have a Sentinel-2 data ID as : S2B_MSIL2A_20201006T052709_N0214_R105_T43PCT_20201006T075133.zip Now, I wish to download the data with the ID as mentioned above from AWS, I went through the naming convention mentioned over here https://roda.sentinel-hub.com/sentinel-s2-l2a/readme.html , but unable to comprehend how this can be done. I have two questions : a) How can I download the data from AWS with above ID ? b) I want to download the whole data as a zip file (not each file separately) ? Please suggest.
Hi everyone I downloaded Sentinel 2 data from the BigEarth archive, and I want to directly compress the ones with 3 RGB bands or compress to 3 or more bands multispectral RGB format, keeping only the RGB bands and discarding the others thanks in advance
Hi, I would like to ask whether it is possible to use multi-temporal scripts with Sentinel-3? Thanks.
S1A_IW_GRDH_1SDV_20180501T003447_20180501T003512_021704_025706_D1EC The above mentioned data is present in Schi-Hub but not in AWS. Can anyone explain the reason?
Has anyone ever tried this approach or should I just learn javascript to do it?
I am a total novice trying to use sattelite data for our monitoring (and stopping hopefully) land encroachment in the forest we’re working in. I’ve been learning bit by bit QGIS - have been using the planet plugin for the monthly mosaics (with some issues i’ve mentioned in another post). We used to use the sentinelhub eobrowser until (i thought) it was discontinued last year and they told us to now use copernicus EO browser. Now back here at planet i see sentinelhub is back up! and i’m curious what the difference is between sentinelhub and copernicus. Also looking to add in these into my QGIS project -but wondering what the difference is .. they work similarly.. but are they indeed the same, is one better? or are both good? how different? All using only the free account options.A simple explanation as to how all these services are related would me much appreciated! Thanks so much.
REGISTER HEREHow to use Earth Observation data to support communication and action for the environment?Earth Observation allows anyone to engage with verified, real-time information on many environmental issues. Social media gives users such as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) the opportunity to reach many people with their messages. Crises on a global scale can be illustrated in a compelling way using images and time series of affected locations, supported by a wide range of visualization tools that do not require geo-information skills. At the local level, satellite imagery enables accurate quantification of the temporal and spatial extent of environmental change, which can be used as evidence in legal cases. In addition to the freely available imagery from the Sentinel and Landsat satellites, high-resolution commercial imagery from Planet is also available at an affordable price.During this 30-minute live webinar, the presenter Andras Zlinszky will show you:How to search, find
I was wondering, if planet’s APIs provide an option to get aggregated statistical data of a long time series (~1 year) of PlanetScope daily imagery of a very small area (<1ha) or even just a point/pixel without having to “manually” download all applicable tiles and calculate the aggregated statistics locally.Context: I want to extract average NDVI values of a small region for each day of a year and plot a time series of the NDVI development.Any help is much appreciated!
