Is this service a scam? Imagery is significantly less resolution than google earth pro

I’m sorry to hear that the plan you purchased didn’t meet your expectations.

In regards to the imagery quality, here you can review the PlanetScope technical specifications. Google Earth imagery is arial photography while PlanetScope is satellite imagery, both temporal and spatial resolutions are not comparable as they are two different types of image capture methods.

Additionally, in order to have the maximum available resolution of PlanetScope, please make sure you are downloading the imagery and not simply viewing it on Planet Explorer.

In regards to payment; as outlined in our terms of use, you can cancel your subscription anytime, but your payment is non-refundable. Your service will continue until the end of your paid contracted term. We also do not give prorated refunds for unused time, data, downloads, processing units, or request volume if you cancel during the middle of a billing cycle. Cancellation or termination of your account does not relieve you of any accrued payment obligations.

You can cancel your subscription from the account management application. In your order history list, click “Details” on the subscription you want to cancel. Click “Revoke subscription” and confirm your choice. Your status will be changed to “revoked” and subscription canceled. If you do not cancel your subscription, you will continue to be charged for the subscription.
