I have activated my account and checked the community forum to find a way to download the images I need (20251227_104811_44_24d1). However, the API key I am using does not have download permissions. I have already searched the forum, but there is no information regarding this specific issue. Could you please clarify if my current subscription includes download access? If I cannot download images, this subscription does not meet my needs.

To others who are facing the same or similar issues:

The Exploration (Platform) plan provides processing tools and access to open datasets (e.g., Sentinel‑2, Landsat), but it does not include download access to Planet’s high‑resolution commercial imagery (PlanetScope, SkySat). To download PlanetScope/SkySat, you must add a commercial imagery package (e.g., Monitoring/PlanetScope AUM tier) in your account’s billing/purchase section; once a AUM plan is active, the imagery options unlock.

Where to upgrade:
• Log in to your dashboard/billing and add an Imagery plan (choose the PlanetScope AUM tier you need).

Hi @elyhienrich, I purchased the Exploration Plan for a year a few days ago, but it wasn't clear to me that downloading images and selecting data requires a different plan, and that it's not compatible with the Exploration Plan. How can I upgrade this annual plan to download images? Would it be compatible with the Basic Plan? Can I use what I've already paid for to upgrade to the Basic Plan?

I need to be able from a KML arquive, download the update image from that area, is necesary to buy another tool? or to change the plan? or is necessary to have the plan plus the planetscope? it looked so easy in your videos, and it turned to be this difficult. I´ll be waiting for your answer to  make a desition about keeping the subscription. Thank you.

Hi @Ludimila

You will need to purchase an AUM/ Monitoring plan to download imagery. The Platform plans (Exploration and Basic) only include tools and access to open data.

While Monitoring plans includes Planetscope/ download - you can also top up those plans to download more imagery if you run out of sq kilometers.

@elyhienrich Hi, is there a specific monitoring plan for Brazil that's more affordable?

Because these prices don't fit my budget.

Thanks.
